The decoration of this bottle, like that of C.440-1984 features some of the 'ten motifs of long life' (sipchangsaeng) including a crane flying among clouds, a deer, a pine-tree, pulloch'o fungi, bamboo and rocks. The cobalt is of a bright colour and is evenly covered with a pale bluish glaze that is slightly discoloured near the base due to oxidisation.
