The blade is engraved on both sides near the ferrule with pendant decoration and an intricate knot on a hatched ground, and shows faint traces of gilding. The handle is of green stained ivory; two of its eight sides are ribbed, the others have applied silver ornaments including masks, flowers and birds. The flat terminal of the handle has an applied silver flower within scrolls. The fork has four tines; the stem is lobed just above the ferrule and shows traces of gilding.
