  <description>
    <value>Green stained ivory, silver, silver-gilt and steel; the knife's steel blade is of pointed scimitar shape; the tapering octagonal section handle curves slightly downwards and has an octagonal silver ferrule. The blade is engraved on both sides near the ferrule with pendant decoration and an intricate knot on a hatched ground, and shows faint traces of gilding. The handle is of green stained ivory; two of its eight sides are ribbed, the others have applied silver ornaments including masks, flowers and birds. The flat terminal of the handle has an applied silver flower within scrolls. The fork has four tines; the stem is lobed just above the ferrule and shows traces of gilding. The handle is decorated in the same style as that of the knife.</value>
