    <value>Mother-of-pearl, wood and steel with brass mounts; the knife has a scimitar-shaped blade with flatted ball-shaped bolster; the pistol grip handle is inlaid with striped bands of wood set with small brass pellets and mother-of-pearl.  The handle terminates in an engraved section of mother-of-pearl.  Round the handle is an engraved brass mount held with dark metal pins, and a broad engraved brass ferrule.  The fork has two long steel tines and a polymorphic bolster; the handle is decorated similarly to that of the knife.</value>
