    <value>Tortoiseshell, silver and steel; the knife has a scimitar-shaped steel blade; each side of the pistol grip handle has a tortoiseshell scale inlaid with a decorative pattern of large silver studs within a circle of small piqu&#xE9; work circles.  The flat top edge is of steel cut in a geometric pattern.  The domed silver terminal cap is engraved with a geometric flower round a small ball knop.  The silver ferrule is finely engraved with flowers and scrolls.  The fork has two long steel tines and a handle which is similarly decorated to that of the knife.</value>
