The handle is inlaid with a band of engraved silver decoration on the top and bottom edges, and with a silver lozenge-shaped ornament on either side. Round the ornament on each side is a panel of fine silver piqué scale work within a border of stylised flowers. The broad silver ferrule is engraved with two bands of arches. The silver terminal cap is engraved with borders of lines. The fork has two long steel tines.
