    <value>Saltglazed-stoneware and steel; each knife has a saltglazed-stoneware pistol grip handle and steel scimitar-shaped blade.  The all white handle is moulded in relief with a bird on a spray of prunus blossom.   The broad steel ferrule has a scalloped border.  The fork has three steel tines and a similar, but slightly smaller, handle to that of the knife.</value>
