Knife A is inscribed 'AN: GOTTES: SE / EN: IST: ALLES' and knife B is inscribed 'GELEGEN / ANNO: 1674'. The case (C) is of wood covered with unpolished pearl ray shagreen with a white metal mount to the tip.
