    <value>Grey stoneware, thrown, incised, painted in cobalt-blue, and salt-glazed. Barrel-shaped with an everted rim and two small handles below the rim. On one side there is a roundel containing a floral spray, and on the other side, another containing a flower head. The roundels are framed by a circle and 'tufts' and a circle of chain or interlace. These are flanked by ferns and stylized plants, all reseved in a blue ground. At the bottom there is a scalloped line and a row of points.</value>
