object type: Brown tsuba for a katana, with a 'silver' sheen to worn areas, mokko (4 lobes) shaped and a sukinokoshi (raised risidual) rim. 
Chisel marks are across the surface as well as randomly placed stamped "Ju" (longevity) characters. There are two hitsu-ana (openings): one kozuka (utility knife) and one kogai (utility pin).
