object type: Bone china, slip-cast, with clear and pale yellow glazes, decorated in royal blue and yellow, and gilt. Urn-shaped with shallow incurved shoulder, tall curving spout, and loop handle, standing on a low foot. The cover has an oval ring handle. The exterior is glazed pale yellow and is painted (probaby) below the shoulder with geometrical-cum-star motifs in Art Deco style. The outer edges of the handle and knob are entirely gilded, there is a gold line down each side of the spout, and a wide gold band and a narrow gold band round the edges of the foot.
