BINDING: 1995, alum-tawed skin over cushioned wooden boards, by Robert Proctor, Fitzwilliam Museum; previous binding preserved: contemporary, alum-tawed skin over cushioned wooden boards, sewn on three supports, traces of four bosses on each cover, remains of one strap on upper cover.

CONTENTS: fol. 1r Easter table (addition); fols. 1v – 133r Psalter, Gallican, with Canticles, Te Deum, and Quicumque vult; fols. 133v – 136v Litany (incomplete) with collects; fol. 137r – 137v Hours of the Virgin (beginning of Matins only).

ORNAMENTATION: Full-page framed initials with foliage infill on gold, green and red grounds for Psalms 1 and 101 (fols. 1v, 85v); identical initials including dragons [9 – 19 ll.] for Psalms 38, 51, 52, 68, 80, 97, 109 (fols. 35r, 45r, 46r, 58r, 71v, 83r, 97r), Hours of the Virgin (fol. 137r), and Canticle of Isaiah (fol. 123r); alternate gold and blue initials [4 – 7 ll.] with blue or red pen-flourishing for remaining Psalms, Canticles, and Litany; blue, red and tan one-line verse initials.
