The cup is cylindrical (can-shaped) with a loop handle, and the saucer is circular with shallow curved sides, has a central depression for the cup, and stands on a footring. The outside of the cup and the inside of the saucer are decorated with pale yellow glaze, and geometrical  motifs in blue, yellow, and gold. There are gold bands round the rims and a line down the back of the handle
