object type: Frieze tile. Greyish-buff earthenware, moulded in relief, covered with an opaque white (tin?) glaze and painted in blue and red. At the top there is a raised border moulded in relief with flowers and foliage on a wavy stem. At the bottom there is a narrow raised border. On the main field, in relief, is part of an inscribed border. The rest of the surface is decorated with wavy stems bearing flowers and foliage reserved on a red ground.
