The circular almost flat cover (A) has a vase-shaped pierced finial . The oval stand (B) is shaped to match the outline of the pot, and has sloping sides and a flat base; which is unglazed on the underside. The glaze on the front is rather speckly particularly near the top edge. The pot is decorated on both sides with a basket of flowers surrounded by four green sprigs and four larger floral sprigs. Below the shoulder there is an undulating red dotted line. On the shoulder there is a green sprig at either end, and following the curvature of the edge, a row of mauve dots between two red lines. There is a puce half flower and a row of dots on the top of the spout, and a row of dots under it, those in the middle larger than those at the ends. On the top of the handle there is a row of puce dots, and down is back, a fan-shaped flower, a vertical stroke, and a V on the terminal. The cover  is decorated with a wreath of floral sprigs and a matching border. The top of the finial is decorated with puce strokes. The stand is decorated with one basket of flowers, floral sprigs and matching borders.
