The tea bowl has a scalloped rim, deep curved and ribbed (28) sides, and stands on a narrow footring. The circular saucer has curved sides with wide shallow fluting, and stands on a footring. The inside of the bowl is decorated in the centre with a basket of flowers and foliage, and below the rim with a border of purple dots between two red lines. On the outside there are six different floral sprigs and below the rim, an undulating horizontal line of purple dots. The saucer is decorated to match.
