object type: Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, glazed and painted overglaze in blue, two shades of green, pink, dark puce, and iron-red enamels. The tea bowl has deep curved sides and stands on a footring. The saucer (A) has shallow curved sides and a footring. The bowl is decorated inside with an iron-red floral spray, and at the top of the sides with a border of blue fan- or trumpet-shaped flowers linked to roses and sprays of leaves. An iron- red band runs round the inside of the rim. The exterior is decorated with six different small floral sprays, one of which is a rose. The saucer is decorated with a central dull red pink rose spray surrounded by six different smaller floral sprays, and with a similar border and line round the rim. Pattern 660
