Ovoid, with flat base, short incurved neck, small strap handle which is curved on the exterior and has a vertical ridge, and on the opposite side a short distance above the base, a short cylindircal insertion to take a spigot. Round the lower part of the body there is a series of nine rings under the glaze. The sgraffito decoration comprises three sets of two horizontal rings, on the shoulder, a little way below the handle, and above the tube for the spigot.
