Bag front:  kelim area of 'guls' of alternating ivory and blue arranged in horizontal bands divided by narrow lines of stitching.   Plain weave decorated with embroidered stylised floral repeat pattern.   Bag back:  plain weave, shades of red.   Sides stitched together:  top edges held together with large buttonhole stitches:  remnants of fringe/tassels.
