object type: Cotton warp.   Blue cotton weft.   Wool pile.   Symmetric knot.
Both ends flat weave with knotted fringes.   Sides oversewn with red wool..   Ivory (faded yellow?) ground with repeat 'boteh' pattern, in rows, facing similar direction.   Triple border of repeat floral design.
Probably originally a small rug, later made into a saddle-rug, and later again saddle slits closed by re-weaving.
