object type: Red-brown stoneware (?) decorated on the front with opaque white and turquoise-green, and very dark brownish-black translucent glaze to form an abstract design which leaves some part of the surface bare; the reverse has very dark brownish-black glaze round the outer part and an unglazed circular area in the middle. The plaque is not quite circular and slightly concave on the front
