    <value>Steel inlaid with silver decoration in relief.  Of flattened pear-shape with cylindrical screw-on stopper (A).  Attached to the base of the stopper is a rod within a hollow tube, the top of which is pierced with two D-shaped holes. The flat top of the stopper has a C-shaped aperature, operated by twisting the tube.  The sides are decorated with two oval beaded cartouches containing vignettes.  One depicts a seated lady and a gentleman in a cutaway coat; the other a lady standing beside a table with eagle support.  The background and the stopper are decorated with Arabesques and scrolling foliage.</value>
