The unglazed base has five paler 'patch marks'. The lower part of the jug is roughly barrel-shaped. Above the lower end of the handle the sides slope gently inwards towards the top where there is a projecting ridge below the rim, and a small lip. A projecting ring encircles the body above the junction of the lower end of the handle with the body, and there are three indented horizontal rings on the neck.
