The inside of the dish is decorated with a rectangular reserve edged in gold and painted in polychrome with stems of lilly-of-the-valley and hearts ease. Outside there are two raised floral sprays reserved in a pale blue ground, with polychrome floral sprays in each corner, a rose, tulip, daffodil, and a purple flower. There is a gold band round the edge.
