    <value>Hard-paste porcelain, moulded, decorated with applied modelled rose sprays, and glazed. The tureen is oval with bulging sides which have two groups of swirling fluting on each side and a band of osier pattern below the rim.  At both ends there is a branch handle with sprays of roses and leaves at its junction with the bowl. In the middle of the base there is a longitudinal ridge  5 cm long. The cover is domed and similarly decorated and handled.</value>
