    <value>Red earthenware, thrown, with applied lip and handle, decorated with mould-applied sprigs coloured with cobalt oxide and white slip under lead-glaze. The pear-shaped jug stands on a low foot. It has a sparrow-beak lip and a loop handle of D section with a leaf-shaped kick at the lower end.  On the front there are four plant sprigs, touched with blue. Both sides of the rim are encircled by a slip band, and there is a splash of slip on the top of the handle.</value>
