object type: White earthenware, painted in blue, brownish-yellow, green and brown under blue-tinted lead-glaze (Pratt Ware). The hemi-spherical  tea bowl stands on a footring. The saucer has deep curved sides and stands on a footring.  The cup is decorated on the exterior with a horizontal repeating garland comprising stylized brownish-yellow buds, brown tendrils, a blue tripartite leaf, and two lanceolate green leaves with a brown horizontal band above and another round the footring. Inside there is a brownish-yellow four-petalled flower in the centre and a brown band below the rim. The inside of the saucer is decorated to match; its exterior is undecorated.
