    <value>Gold and silver disc perpetual calendar

Calendar: Small silver body with gold discs calendar with supporting ring. Front with gold disc engraved across, between lines, with the planetary symbol for the day, followed by the day of the week in English. Sunday is at the top, a pin at the edge of the disc at the start of the Wednesday line, the edge of the gold disc opposite with cut-out at side to reveal circle of numbers, 1 to 31, engraved around the outside of the silver disc. Engravd pattern above, and below, the week. The support ring is fixed to a silver disc between 31 and 1. Reverse gold disc engraved with four circles, the outer just  in from the edge. Between lines 1 and 2 are engraved the words 'PERPETUAL' and 'CALENDAR', with tapered aperture through all three spaces between, second tapered aperture through 2 and 3 opposite. Second space with knobs under engraved words on outer space and 'Night' and 'Day' engraved next to the apertures, day under perpetual. Third space engraved 'RISING' under 'perpetual' and 'SETTING' under 'Calendar'.
