  <description>
    <value>Buff earthenware, press-moulded, tin-glazed bluish-white, and painted in blue. The salver or tray is circular with an inverted scalloped rim, sloping slightly fluted sides and flat centre, supported on three short legs with paw feet. The top is painted with a central leaf surrounded by an inverted scalloped circle. Outside that are groups of four dots alternating with leaves, repeated larger on the sides, and enclosed by another inverted scalloped circle. On the back there is a scar near the edge, possibly where it has adhered to another object during firing.</value>
