Branyon et al (see Documentation) point out that the name is 20th century. Comparable patterns were used by Bow, Lowestoft, Chaffers and Christians, Liverpool, Plymouth and Derby. A printed version was made at Caughley. Large numbers of fragments and glost wasters have been found on the Worcester factory site, ‘at almost every level of the factory site excavations’.referenceterm-120902adlib-term-1209027ad5748a-4503-39c2-9b0e-6460b249452418th Century, third quarterreferenceterm-107736adlib-term-107736e93a8dd1-d76d-320b-be9b-afa352e322a1George IIreferenceterm-107437adlib-term-10743796f4b0d1-fc11-39ff-ae91-1b23d888d479George IIIreferenceterm-110248adlib-term-110248cba47e76-2d0b-34e4-9661-30ce8695a792literalEnglandEnglandcountryliteralWorcestershireWorcestershireregionWorcesterpresumed steatiticreferenceterm-37637adlib-term-3763789b09133-dc0a-3a88-bd40-5aef1ad30ecbsoft-paste porcelainreferenceterm-32652adlib-term-3265282d8ae3b-f165-395c-ba93-dfa1c282b7beglazeHeightcm13Lengthcm18.7referenceterm-91394adlib-term-913942bb189d3-6008-3a4e-abbb-eb2a240e0739teapotreferenceterm-107478adlib-term-10747881002e74-5083-37b8-a429-4a303fc40695coverhistory noteSir Ivor and Lady Batchelor, St Andrew’s, Fife; on loan since 2006referenceagent-149638adlib-agent-1496387376d833-d0a7-3be0-916e-9c892b7a24d8The Fitzwilliam MuseumCf. p. 192, pattern I.E.1, ‘Mansfield’, where a sugar bowl and cover is illustrated.
