object type: Off-white stoneware, press-moulded with integral relief decoration, and salt-glazed.  Approximately diamond-shaped but with rounded, wavy sides and edges, and a flat base.  The flat base of the inside is decorated with a symetrical arrangement of scrolling foliage, with a rope edging around the junction with the sides. Each of the lobes has a scalloped line about half-way up the side. The outside is undecorated.
