A central oval aperture (which seems to have been hand-cut, probably by the sender) is backed with pink silk, a verse titled 'MY HEART STILL CLINGS TO THEE' is printed in black ink: 'Hail, scene of youth's devotion! / Long may your waters roll: / Ye fill me with emotion, / And ever charm my soul ...'.
