object type: Loose within album P.14347-R.  A hand-coloured lithograph on thin, white wove paper. A vignette at upper centre features a woman in pink and yellow dress and bonnet holding a white handkerchief in her left hand with her love in blue and white admiral's uniform, about to return to the ship that is seen on the sea to the left. The landscape and vegetation appears tropical. A printed verse of three stanzas below: "Oh remember me, remember me - when I am far away, / At the early blush of morning, at the parting shades of day; ...". A hand-written inscription in black ink at centre left: "2 gross / 2 dozen". A hand-written inscription, probably same hand, at upper centre: "6", which suggests that P.14347-R-L16 may be one of a series. The interior is blank.
