Moulded in low relief with shells on the top, decorated with enamel colours of pale pink, flesh pink, green, grey, black, red, purple, and a minute quality of blue. Of rounded oval outline with one straight side, very slightly convex. The top is painted naturalistically with shells and coral. On the underside is a half length portrait of a lady facing front, head turned slightly to her right.
