Plate skeletonised and chased, two clear areas and holes for the original balance bridge Turned fusee iron post. Polished steel case bolt with conical end, in slot in plate, nib under dial. Cock on pillar plate for cylinder. Pillar plate with three pillars, two for plate and one for barrel bridge. Centre wheel recessed. Third wheel bridge. Under dial, centre recessed, scratched on edge 'Maystre' and 'Maystre a G' in centre; 'guavo' over '1785'. Hinge of gold. Fusee and chain, one lip on the barrel, set up click under the dial. Cylinder escapement, brass wheel and steel cylinder. Train planted clockwise. DIAL: Silver engine turned with black line minute ring, dots at 5 mins and triangles at quarters, radial Roman chapters, scratched on back 'Sidney' over '25 mi 1829'. Winding hole at 2 o'clock. Secured by screws at 3 and 9 o'clock. HANDS: Blued steel 'Breguet' style, minute hand end missing. CASE: Gold ring and diamonds. Watch case body and bezel chased, bezel set with ring of diamonds and three over ring stem. Body with glazed back, diamonds over Y junction to stem.
