MOVEMENT: Full plate engraved 'Amy Bouuier'. Large balance cock with pierced and engraved table, with ears, foot pierced and engraved with thin edge. Pierced and engraved slide plate, steel regulator disc blued with gold inlaid rings, decorations and Arabic numbers 1 to 6. Flat steel balance with three arms and banking pin in circumference. Fusee iron bracket pierced. Case bolt with flat formed foot. Rectangular potance and tapered counter-potance riveted to plate. Pillar plate with four Egyptian pillars, scratched '4P4' on inside. Split fusee and chain, barrel with two lips, set-up click under barrel, second wheel off centre. Verge escapement. Train planted anti-clockwise. BRASS EDGE: Zig-zag decoration around dial. DIAL: Silver gilt, radial Roman chapters with inner half-hour ladder of silver, gilt matted ground, and a gilt matted centre with chased decoration. 'AMY' engraved in oval cartouche under 12 o'clock and 'BOUUIER' in oval cartouche over 6 o'clock. HAND: Steel beetle. INNER CASE: Plain silver, stamped inside with the maker's mark, incuse 'AH' under a crown and a very small boar's head mark. Pendant with spherical top bow (both late 18th century) OUTER CASE (A): Silver, square hinge. Stamped decoration on bezel and body, scene on back of walled town with river in front and signed 'ARPIN.FECIT'.
