MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'Thos. Betson LONDON 10485'. Balance cock with chased table and foot, foot with narrow border. Polished steel balance. Chased slide plate, silver regulation dial with radial Arabic numerals 1 to 6. Pierced fusee iron post. Case bolt polished steel, with pierced vertical end. Potance with foot having a moulding at the end, screwed to plate. Counter-potance riveted to plate. Pillar plate with four square pillars, scratched under dial, '10485'. Fusee and chain, tangent set-up under barrel, barrel with one lop. Verge escapement. Train planted anti-clockwise.

BRASS EDGE: Three feet, flat on to pillar plate.

DIAL: White enamel on copper, three feet. Radial Arabic 5 minute figures, dotted minute ring, radial Roman chapters.

HANDS: Blued steel beetle and poker.
