INNER CASE: Gilt brass, well worn, with glass. Centre inside stamped incuse 'JR' with pellet between. Pendant and bow also gilt brass, well worn. OUTER CASE (A): Gilt brass, inside spotted with gilt, stamped incuse 'JR' with pellet between, as inner case. Bezel and back covered in horn painted as tortoiseshell with a light colour at back. Growth rings visible. Bezel with thirty-eight brass pins around centre of horn strip, one missing. Back with thirty-eight brass pins around edge, three missing. Pendant slot, half in body and half in bezel. WATCHPAPERS: A) Silk printed in black. Outer edge pattern with cut edge, spaces above and below verse.
