The fluted pear-shaped body stands on a footring and has a tall slightly curved and facetted spout, a double curved handle with a thumb piece at the top and a kick at the bottom. The domed cover is fluted and has a flower-shaped knob with two small leaves. The underside of its rim and the exterior of the flange which fits inside the neck of the pot are unglazed. The handle is decorated with a flowerhead flanked by ferns, and spout has a floral spray on its underside and a spiral motif on its top. A line runs round the body just above the footring and there is a narrow border of contiguous rectangles round the neck, each having a spot in a reserved oval in the middle.
