object type: Pale buff earthenware, tin-glazed overall, and painted in blue, green, yellow, orange and manganese. The vase is ovoid with a flaring neck and two 'twisted rope' handles. On each side of the body there is a yellow carnation flanked by foliage, and on the neck, a six-petalled flower flanked by foliage. There are sets of three manganese horizontal bands at the bottom, on the shoulder, and on the top of the neck. The handles are blue.
