object type: Gilded lace-paper, multi-window frame mounted on paper springs. The eight oval windows contain glazed, chromolithographed scraps of flowers and a scrap of Cupid in a landscape holding a flaming torch, a dove and his quiver of arrows and a putti on a cloud holding a pitcher and grapes. At the centre is a silver edged scrap with a scroll bearing the message: 'Dearly do I love thee'. WOOD blind-embossed at upper left.
