A delicate, lace-paper border around a large, central panel containing a chromolithograph of a young woman dressed as a white lily, with text printed in blue on the right; \"lily \/ purity\" and with the printed verse in pink ink below: \"I cannot gaze on aught that wears \/ the beauty of the skies \/ or aught that in life's valley bears \/ the blues of Paradise ... \/ Sargent\". The artist's name, \"Ch\u00e9ret\" (Jules Ch\u00e9ret) is printed at lower left and an illegible printed name\/title at lower right, which is probably the copyright notice, 'ENT STA. HALL.' [Entered at Stationers' Hall] as the notice is printed in this position on other 'Animated Flowers' valentines by Rimmel.
