Tinted lithograph on white wove paper, printed in red and black. A policeman standing in the street holds a dish labelled "RABBIT PIE" in his left hand and winks with his left eye. A female servant can be seen below the iron railings in the background (having evidently just given the policeman the pie). A printed verse below: "Hey Robert, playing at the same old game, / Now don't you think it is a crying name, / To keep on making love all down the street, / Thus duping each fond cookie on your beat." On the verso is a newspaper clipping about "Mahometans" and abortion. Below this is a woodcut illustration cut from a newspaper/periodical of a young man and woman in an upper-middle class interior (c. late 1860s) with a male servant.
