object type: A small rectangular piece of thick card with a chromolithographed scene of children wearing 18th-century dress in a landscape. Two boys pay court to a girl who is accompanied by Cupid (a naked boy with wings). A blank white wooden fence or signpost in the foreground was presumably intended for a printed message or verse. "Strasburgh, print. G. Silbermann" printed at lower right. This card was probably designed for children. See also P.14349-R-32, which is another card presumably printed by Silbermann and mounted on the same album leaf.
