object type: Silvered lace-paper panel for a valentine with shaped and scalloped edges incorporating four white silk panels and a central blue silk panel all decorated with embossed chromolithographed flower scraps including pansies and morning glory flowers (convolvulus). There is a (damaged) backing of rice-paper. This card was included in the exhibition of valentine cards, _For ever thine: the nineteenth century valentine_, held in the Charrington Print Room at the Fitzwilliam Museum in 1995, no. 48.
