object type: Miniature-sized comic valentine in the design of a book of music which opens to reveal a comic scene inside. The front cover of the 'book' has a lithographed design in red ink with a blue border. The title is printed at upper centre: GOODBYE, / SWEETHEART / GOODBYE, with three staves of music below. The book opens to show a coloured lithographic scene of a young man being pushed off a ladder by a young woman standing on a balcony. One of a series of miniature comic music book valentines.
