Some of the flowers and leaves lift up to reveal a hand-written message in black ink (by the sender): 'Thee and only thee can I love'. A hand-written title in blue ink (created by Henry Dobbs) at upper centre: 'A Scrap from Cupid's Library'. Affixed below are a silver paper dove and novelty, lithographed music book with printed direction and verse as part of the music: 'with Tenderness / but sprightly / Oh! / I should like to marry, / if that I could find any little / partner suited to my mind'.
