'No 24' is lithographed at the lower right of the image, indicating that this design is one of a series. Two verses are printed in a sloping script above and below the central image: 'On this missive, fair and bright, \/ View the Temple of delight \/ Cupids round the porch are winging - \/ Each his votive offering bringing ...'. The interior is blank. One of a series of similar designs in the same style which are mounted on consecutive leaves of album P.14416-R. A hand-written inscription on the album leaf below: '2\/6 [2 shillings sixpence]'. This pricing was probably transcribed from the handwritten MS by second-hand bookseller, R.S.
