object type: A small sachet valentine of embossed silver lace-paper with a chromolithograph of a young girl wearing a pink dress scattering rose petals down a staircase. A fountain and rose arch in the background. On the verso of the sachet envelope are two scrolling 'clasps' which fold across a flower scrap. The sachet is open along one side to reveal a wad of white tissue paper inside.
