The frame is decorated with a collage of large, cut-paper chromolithographed leaves and pink cotton flowers with wax stamens. At the centre is an oval-shaped frame of gilt embossed paper containing a sepia lithograph of a lady leaning against a stone plinth with large urn. A scroll printed in gold ink is affixed below, bearing the verse: 'Proudly would my fond heart yeild [sic] / and follow to the camp or field'. The interior is blank.
